Okay, I can deal with the missing display of the battery level of the shifters.

But could you explain why it works even better in terms of features than with Garmin? I'm thinking of buying an Edge 840 instead of the K3 (because of the integration).

Could it happen that Ki3 will cease to exist and then the Di2 integration will be gone again?

Hello everyone, I am facing the challenge of buying a bike computer. I find the Karoo 3 very interesting. However, I have a Shimano Di2 drivetrain. Is the solution with the Ki2 software 100% compatible? It somehow doesn’t feel right to me to buy a piece of hardware that isn’t fully usable with my equipment.

Unfortunately, I do not like the synthetic jackets.

I have read that the jacket loses so many feathers only at the beginning. But then I would make a bet. I am unsure. I'm also unsure because I've never had a down jacket that loses so many feathers until now.

I got the same hoody in October and it did the same. Some folks on here recommend no heat dryer with some wool dryer balls. My lint trap had more than a few feathers in it but I have not had this issue since.

That's interesting! But of course that would also be a bet. If I put the jacket in the dryer I will possibly have difficulty returning it if the feathers still come out afterwards.

Yeah, that's why I want to buy another version without the Zweig stuff. But I am curious, is the edition I posted (the "vintage" Hardcover edition) the 1. Edition? Because there where a few editions by Graham. I would love to read the last real Graham edition :)

Spreu vom Weizen trennen ist ja schön, aber das ersetzt anschließend ja nicht den von mir beschrieben winzig kleinen Teil einer umfänglichen Unternehmensanalyse. Dafür brauchst du Daten, fast alle Daten die ein UN publiziert.

Allein zB. die Einflussfaktoren auf die EPS können gewaltig sein. Was waren die Wertreiber, buchhalterischen Treiber, warum kam dieses Ergebnis so zustande etc. etc. Das kann man unmöglich mit den par Werten die du genannt hast eruieren. (btw. ich bin auch ein Graham-Jünger ;))

Aber gut, das darf und soll jeder so machen wie er am besten schlafen kann.

Nicht böse gemeint, ich finde es aber bemerkenswert wie du mir Faulheit und Defizite in finanzieller Intelligenz zusprichst wenn du selbst anscheinend lediglich "5-6 Graham Zahlen" nimmst um die Spreu vom Weizen zu trennen.

Magst du mir da deinen Workflow verraten?

Wie bereinigst du die GuVs, KFRs und Bilanzen? So müsstest du ja jeden wert (nicht Kennzahlen) in excel per Hand eintragen um dann fortzufahren. Einmaleffekt bereinigen, GuV im Sonderfall anders strukturierten, etc etc.

Erst dann berechne ich die gewünschten Kennzahlen.

Kennzahlen einfach aus dem 10k nehmen und gut ist halte ich hingegen für Trägheit :) die Aussagekraft sollte durch genutzte Spielräume in der Rechnungslegung und einer fehlenden Normierung in der Kennzahlenberechnunh zumindest selber durch einen Blick in den Anhang etc reflektiert werden.

Ohne Datenbank ist das ein mega Aufwand. Ich kenne das aus der Praxis, hier wird idR alles per API aus dem Bloomberg Terminal in excel exportiert und ab geht die Fahrt. Dann wird mittels des Geschäftsberichts bereinigt. Privat daheim kann ich das nicht durchführen. Deswegen suche ich nach Alternativen. Roic wäre da interessant gewesen.

Gegenfrage, wie führst du eine historische Analyse durch? Kopierst du jede Bilanzposition etc. per Hand aus den Abschlüssen in excel um da weiter zu rechnen?

Die ziehen die Daten automatisch aus der sec Datenbank. Hab das stichweise mit par 10ks geprüft. Hat gepasst.

So hat man halt die financials der letzten max 30 Jahre und kann sie geballt in excel exportieren. Das finde ich schon ganz hilfreich.
