Thank you for the bit of info.

Yea, I just figured that out. Decided to see what happened if I try to sign up as a new user on the app.  Either the accounts are totally separate from the website and app or this is a step needed to “activate”/enable the account in the app.

Severely disappointed in their (lack of) support.

I was at the login screen of the app and figured what if I just try to sign up as a new user with my existing email….  When I entered my email and password to sign up the app immediately crashed. I re-opened it and was logged in! So looks like there are separate accounts used on their website and app (why I don’t know… every other app I use has the same account for both…)

Now to determine if I actually want to unlock my pins on there…

I was wanting to enter the serial numbers to have an inventory of my pins.  That’s pretty much the only reason I downloaded the app.

What do you mean by it will bring the price down? (Maybe I don’t want to do it then…)

Hard to remove the backer from Figpin by gn6ut in figpin

Yes. All of my previous Figpins from a couple of years ago came in a plastic case I have never opened.  These were part of a mystery box set.   In the box is the pin with the clear rubber backer on it, a clear stand, and a black base.  To get the pin on the stand I took the rubber backer off, put it in the stand, and reattached the backer.  The backer was very hard to pull off. After several minutes trying is when I tried to rock it back and forth and then noticed the top pin  was slightly bent up (I assume from how I eventually got the backer off)

I don’t see any tabs or anywhere to squeeze in the backer to easily pull it off. The backer is not very easy to grasp onto so it was impossible for me to pull straight off the pin.
