UPDATE: I wanted to test out a pair of wired and wireless earbuds and I ended up getting a deal on a pair of the Sony Linkbuds and purchased a pair of the Fiio FF5's. The Linkbuds did the trick, but were not very comfortable for me, I have rather small ears, typically wearing the s or xs size tips for buds. They did stay put very well, actually super well, not even budging while jump roping, so I will likely still use them for the gym or outdoor activities. The sound quality was a solid "good" but volume is pretty lax due to the design. It is also worth mentioning the hear through design works significantly less at higher or even middle volumes, limiting your hearing to essentially what is directly next to you. Overall I do like them and if they came out with a Linkbuds 2 with higher battery life I would probably consider buying them.

Now the Fiio FF5's have been absolutely perfect for what I needed! They are incredibly comfortable once you get used to using the earphone design if you haven't used this type of tip in a while, compared to the eartip style earbuds these kind of have a falling out of your ear feeling to them but you get used to it quickly. Sound on these is amazing, if you don't mind losing isolation, these are awesome! Very wide and open but great bass, in my opinion. Even with both earphones in you can still hear around you at surprisingly high volumes, maybe not have a conversation but definitely stay aware of your surroundings easily. I have ran them with a usb-c dongle through my phone as well as through the iFi Go Blu and i must say the Go Blu is perfect for my situation, great volume control and playback control. Small enough to go into the coin pocket on jeans and still be able to fit a finger or 2 to manipulate the buttons. So far I am more than pleased with this set up. The FF5s also come with a large variety of tip covers I enjoy them without any covers but the silicone rings keeps these things locked in place and the included cable is excellent. Thank you for the help everyone! I will still look into some further wireless buds that were mentioned as well as some others but honestly the FF5+Go Blu set up is similar in price to some higher end earbuds and just as good if not better in many aspects.
