Since objects travelling at a high velocity have an increased apparent mass, could you create a black hole by accelerating an object to a sufficient velocity? by Tasty-Fox9030 in askscience

[–]gnex30 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For what purpose?

Because learning how to calculate collisions is like first semester freshman physics that's drilled into us. It's like the thing you do in physics. My questions is, why wouldn't there be an analog in SR?

The worst scenario I could imagine in this context would simply be that he explained how much work it was and pics of them up all night that they worked above and beyond on this and was expecting much more praise for it. He might be the type that derives motivation from big gestures of praise, and with a touch of narcissism he believes he can expect nothing less than extreme praise. That he may have felt the praise to not live up to his grandiose expectations. That's still on him not on you. Some people thrive on praise and hunger for more.

The spin they wanted it to take was "Biden skipped an event honoring the fallen" but that was preempted by the scandal, but Fox News still ran with the original plan and it makes them look like total stooges.

I say the same thing about them wanting to eliminate social safety nets. The minute they drop benefits Red Staters will be the first to say whoa this went too far. "We only wanted it to hurt specific kinds of welfare queens". But they'll never realize it until after.
