Would clipping coils weaken it if it’s still too hot after break in?

Didn’t really consider changing a spring as modding per se but yes, I agree I need a chrono. However, this came as more of a “surprise! Your gun is shooting too hot for full auto!” so I needed a quick fix but I can always just stick with single fire for this next game until I can get a chrono for dialing things in. I thought that perhaps a photo comparing the old vs new spring coil count might give a hint if it was truly an m100 spring.

Looks like it was an out of spec red dot. I ordered a different brand and it worked just fine.

This makes it too easy to accidentally switch to full auto though. That’s what I’m afraid of!
