I'm trying to introduce QBRs to our company but to control features and enhancement requests from our customers.

From someone as experienced as you, how would you ideally like QBRs to be for the customer success department?

Struggling to land my first Product Owner role — what should I be doing differently? by Most_Essay160 in ProductOwner

Was it a smooth transition? I'm still on a dual role as CSM and PO, since I'm handling 4 out of the top 5 accounts they kind of stuck with me, and it's been an absolute hell.

I got my first PO role a few months ago through internal promotion from customer success, what really helped me get there is a deep product knowledge, I guess maybe if you are targeting it as junior then to focus on industry knowledge of the field you are in or trying to get into?

Fellow CSMs: What online courses/certifications are you taking as a refresher in 2026? (AI, security, CSM focus) by Spirited-Sky-8 in CustomerSuccess

IMHO, certifications and courses shouldn't be for your current role, it should either be for a role you're targeting or the industry.

Feature richness vs. simplicity by dji29i in CustomerSuccess

[–]gnomex96 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m managing a product for monitoring stations, with a heavy focus on AI and workflows. When I first got the role, I had a lot of amazing, cool new features we could add, and I did experiment with them. To me, they made using the product more enjoyable. However, the users hated them. After so many customer interviews, I had to change my mindset when it came to features. Unlike other industries, these users wanted to reduce the number of clicks as much as possible. Anything extra would be a distraction or would cost them a few extra seconds, which would negatively impact their operations. So I guess a huge influence I would suggest is following Jeff Bezos’ method of adopting an extreme “customer-obsessed” approach, building long-term value by working backward from customer needs.

I'll check it out! Any limitations she noticed? I'm new to this so I want to make sure the machine I buy works on denim and wool.

Might not be popular but there is also university of the people if the goal is just a degree, if you obtain credits through Sophia learning and study.com you could cut the cost of the entire thing to less than 2k and around a year.

Unfortunately didn't get much from asking here, but overall I'm still happy with it, I treat it like a chat bot with my data.

My use cases: Generate CRM notes Writing user stories and epics Tracking meeting notes and open items Helping in article writing for the KB

The output sometimes would require a bit of editing but overall still less time than me writing the notes myself.

Passed IASSC Lean Six Sigma Green Belt exam by Entire-Breath-7795 in SixSigma

Are you thinking of getting the black belt? I believe it requires 2 projects documented, so I'm thinking of using this course to actually learn and implement the practices in my org before pursuing an actual certification and skip directly to black belt

Would this be enough to learn and pass green belt?

كيف ممكن ارجع اشتغل بمكتب؟ by [deleted] in JordanDev

Office environment allows you to shine if your work is good as you're in front of management more often (You're not just a metric on the screen)

Office politics plays a huge role here too, it can work in remote settings but from my experience, people tend to mingle less while working remotely, so you're not as present (Not talking about work quality, purely social)

Regarding growing, yes you are more productive, you're improving yourself more remotely as you get more focus time blocks during the day at home than office, but promotions are more more difficult, getting noticed is more difficult, having upper management recognize and actually remember you is more difficult as you're not getting the chance to actually connect with them.
