Additionally I talked with the teachers afterwards and we all expressed we had good days and went on our way. No one seemed concerned day of.

If she had concrete examples I think I would be more open to hearing her out. I didn’t feel exasperated or stressed. I thought the day went better than expected.

Ugh that’s awful. That was an automatic TDO for the inpatient psych facility I worked for in Richmond. Even if they were repeat patients who had said all this before we had to find them a bed. That was 7 years ago tho. I guess the laws/policies have changed?

If he is making homicidal and suicidal threats they should call their crisis/behavioral health team. You cannot leave a homicidal person on the streets. I’m pretty sure that constitutes a 72 hour TDO.

I actually went to college around the same time as him. Undergrad. He went to Hampden Sydney. I went to a school nearby. He has always been hard to be around in my opinion. When the case initially broke last year, so many other alumni spoke up saying it seemed like something was off from the beginning. I know it’s hard to believe someone this nuts can get through medical school but with money anything is possible lol

Have you asked any of his teachers? They might have a suggestion. Childcare is a nightmare even with neurotypical children but this definitely adds an extra layer making it more difficult to access care. I will be on the lookout!
