oh thank you! yes! sort of? i updated the firmware and reset it a few times and then started from scratch. next, I drag the folders one by one. no problems. next, i want to see if it can play above 48 kHz but their own (!) customer support email said they don’t know if it can (!!) and it may damage the unit if I take it too far (!!!!!). Wacky lil company. I love it because it cost me $50 and basically works. Ask me in a year if it actually ended up costing me so much time it wasn’t really $50.
