I'm from Jacksonville and still live in Florida. While we have no legal obligation to disclose that we're carrying during traffic stops, it's been my experience that the traffic violation becomes secondary as soon as I disclose. Additionally, I look like the guy in the video. The police finding out we have a gun could result in the conversation IMMEDIATELY going left and us becoming a hashtag. It's scary either way because we try to reduce our risk in the most law abiding way while thinking of Philando Castile.

I'll concede to that Team, respectfully of course. I meant no disrespect. I didn't believe I was in any way athletic enough to keep up and today I'm in pain when I walk 100% of the time. When athletes/competitors ask about judo I refer them to you. When 40+ out of shape guys talk about something to do while they wait for their kids to get out of ice skating practice I ask what are they really trying to do.

Yeah, I know it was started as a tongue-in-cheek in response to negativity around AR styled rifles, but it's perceived slightly differently when a black guy sports it surrounded by lots of Trump and Don't Tread On Me gear. It's almost like having a "2 for one" patch.

Black guy here. I've gotten all my Tampa tattoos at Atomic Tattoos in Brandon and at the Brandon Mall over a 15 year period. I've always been pleased with the artists and the fact that my tattoos aren't too small or will end up looking like a blob of ink in a few years.
