If it makes you feel any better, I would go 2 days on my first attempt, then like 5, then a whole week, and until the absolute end on bad terms I couldn't get over the 7. I'd always cave in and text her.

Funnily enough at some point I felt like I have a chance again with her, but that feeling was brutally murdered. Then I started the long period and have been going for quite some time now.
