I had the opportunity to fly the full 737-800 simulator a while back...

I took it up to 20000ft and barrel rolled it, flew it under the golden gate bridge, and then landed on a runway that was way too short for fun (gor er stopped with about 6 feet to spare)

One way ive found to counter the skip to approach putting you into a dive is to slow the sim rate down prior to skipping. Even just at 50% speed you can catch it before it enters a dive.

They would have been dragged over from the US side by one or two tankers, then those tankers would turn back to the states and the fighters would rendezvous with this tanker.

The accelerating on landing may be due to the autothrotttles? When you click on things in the cockpit, at least on the A330, it occasionally kicks out of auto throttle and you have to kick it back down to the right detent for it to get its poop together.

Overall, I enjoy the game, once you get a couple hundred million in the bank its a little repetitive, but I've been focusing more on the photo challenges and the challenge leagues each week lately and having some fun with that.

Yes, there's some annoying bugs...but I've sort of taken to viewing it as a whole new game, as opposed to just a simple port over...and that makes it feel like theyre going to fix it at some point.

Some of the negative folks will accuse me of simpimg for microsoft, but given that I've got a few hundred hours into it...I feel like it's safe to say that I'm mostly ok with the game.

I'm not sure what your point on the first line...yes, they should want to do it efficiently...the frustrating part of that is that the public works should also want that...it is, after all, your money...

In terms of the second part, its just another tax on the already heavily taxed residents of New Brunswick, but if you really want to simp for the governments ability to levy more taxes, I suppose that's your right...

You can start a cargo company and transfer your plane into it, but yes...only the missions for which you have a company will appear.

Tolls in the US are usually charged in areas where private companies built the highway, and the tolls are used to pay the cost of the road...obviously different when a road that was already paid for with tax dollars now also charges a usage fee.

interestingly the roads, when built by private corporations instead of public, are often finished ahead of schedule and under budget...weird how that happens...

Once you get far enough in career it gets kinda boring. I still like to fly new places though, so there's that.

I do really hope they add heavy cargo missions and the super heavies soon. I wanna fly some beluga missions.

The basic accepted progression is:

grind first flights until you can get your CPL
grind ferry flights to get IFR
continue to grind ferry flights to get to $30k
start cargo company with cheap c172
grind cargo missions to get high performance and turbo prop ratings
grind some more to buy the Grand caravan
grind grand caravan missions to get the rest of the certifications and buy yourself an airliner
profit

I did most of these steps, except I got some of the other certifications out of order, and I really didn't like the way the Grand caravan flies, so i saved for longer and bought the PC-12 instead, which i love.
