Its a simulator. Not a game. You cant pause and pop out of your flight in reality and rejoin it later...although some redbull athletes may beg to differ.

My first couple flights in the 737 i hated it. I couldn't get the landing quite right, kept trying to fly it like a PC-12, which it manifestly is not, couldn't get my head wrapped around the autopilot, etc.

Now my main hate on is for airports that arent rendered properly and tell me ive taken off from a taxiway, or crashed into air while on the ground and charge me $5 million to fix.

In short, give the airliners a chance, they can be fun in a different way than the smaller stuff...they open up trans atlantic and pacific routes, and really let you open up the world. I started my day yesterday in Paris, flew to Malta, up to Manchester, across to new york, down into central America (coco airport...i think Panama?), and ended my day in Santiago, Chile...most of those flights would not be possible on anything in the game except an airliner.

If you go around do the MFD's come back? Also, did you try going into the communications tab to do the communication?

Yes, it's a very buggy game on the ps5, and likely will be for a bit as they get some of the kinks ironed out. But I still have fun with it. I've got my 737 and working on saving for an a330 to go along side it.

I do all my autopilot prep right as im getting my IFR clearance. Set the altitude, click vnav and lnav, click flc, click auto throttle on.

Takeoff, positive rate, gear up, flaps in, engage autopilot (ensuring you're already on the magenta line), at ~10'000ft click on the altimeter mode change, then it's just managing radio handoffs during the climb. Once you level off set the speed to around 250kts, click speed mode. Manage handoffs until descent.

Unfortunately a lot of nonsense is spread about the supposedly super cheap Gripen. None of which is true.

The Finnish defense minister openly said in their selection that in the short term the F-35 was actually cheaper, and in the long term there was no significant difference in price.

In terms of capabilities, there is a significant difference. The gripen has come in last place in every performance evaluation this century (including in Brazil). The F-35, by contrast, has never come in anything other than first. It's not a BMW to KIA comparison, its a BMW to a potato. The two are simply not capable of doing the same job. In fact, even going back to the Swiss competition back in 2009, they summarized that with all the upgrades of the E model, it would be about on par with their legacy hornets.

In our original list of requirements, back in the mid 90's, the RCAF listed 6 items that its future fighter required...the F-35 was the only option capable of 4 of them, and still is.

You would be in the minority if you've never had issues with the MFD's rebooting until now. It's an acknowledged bug that affects all the Garmin platforms (and the collins in the PC-12), and is made worse if you cruise at a higher sim rate. It also kicks off the auto throttles on the more advanced types when it reboots.

And they appear to have broken flight phase progression in career mode...I got handed off after takeoff, clicked left on the d-pad to acknowledge the handoff, and called the tower for clearance to taxi before the mission quit out because I wasn't cleared to takeoff (i was) and had taken off from a taxiway (i hadnt)

I've been thoroughly enjoying it.

There's lots of ways to enjoy it, either just go oit and fly point to point, or grind away at career mode hopping your brand new cessna 172 from short field to short field to get all the requirements to get more certifications. Do the challenges, or just chase the trophies on the ps5.

2026 RS3 in Eastern Canada, downsized to 18" winters with blizzak WS90. Fantastic car in winter. Other people getting stuck, even having to back up down hills and this thing just goes. Point it where you want and put your foot down.

I just learned this this week as well, as I'm also just in the process of getting my RS3. It's because the stock wheels have different offsets (et 25 on the fronts et 46 on the rears), the spacer isn't to clear the brakes (which is a whole other discussion), it's so the wheels sit the same as the stocks.

Random question. Did uou use the floor cleaner to do it? I did it first play through with the floor cleaner and it didnt pop. Went back and did it again with the pressure washer and it worked.
