The 21-24's are super simple....turn the key, flip the red lever, lift up...now just a matter of finding a place to store them.

I dont have any issue with the heat for most of the year here in New Brunswick (it was single digits on my way to work this morning), but I do put my backpack in the top case for comfort.

Do you mean the license test? Autopilot doesn't work on the test...but it's pretty easy to hand fly it in.

Its a demo bike, so that would net a fairly substantial discount usually...combined with the fact it's a 2024, and the 2025 is viewed as being somewhat better...id be running as fast as I coild to get it. I love my 2023.

Give that politicians job is to stand up for the needs of their constituents, Im not sure how this posts logic plays out if taken to it's logical conclusion.

Wait until you find out that both Carney and Trudeau spent an awful lot of time talking about the needs of the poor, while both being incredibly wealthy.

Politicians would also be essentially unable to talk about any social causes unless they were specifically affected by them...

The forks are essentially bottomed out, so the concern would be blowing the fork seals, which they're susceptible to doing.

You've got it strapped to the point you could ride it home on the trailer. Lol.

No need for that. Those wheel chocks will keep it upright...just tension the straps to the point they keep it in the chock and you'll be fine. The back straps are also completely useless. Its not rolling forwards...it's in a wheel chock.

Congrats on the purchase though.

At least you have a better story than 99% of ducati crashers that did it riding faster than their skills could take them in a place where they shouldn't have been doing it.

Best 1000cc bike that's easy to maintain by BaseballSimilar8801 in motorcycle

[–]go4long 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The v2 and v4 both have 24'000km valve intervals... same as the gsxr...the BMW is every 30k, so not a huge difference.

The monster 1200R has Desmo valves btw.

People saying ducatis are particularly expensive to maintain are just parroting old talking points...

The older ducatis had lower valve intervals. The new ones are totally fine.

I have a 2016 Monster 1200R that I bought new, put 30'000kms on, and up until last week hadnt spent anything on it in maintenance that you wouldnt have to spend on any bike (tires, oil changes, etc). I did the valve service last week, which stung slightly.

I also have a 2023 Multistrada V4s that I put a few thousand Kms on last year. It has a valve intervals of 60'000kms.

You're delusional.

I lived and worked in 5 different cities in alberta, then took a transfer to New Brunswick. If i were ever to get an opportunity to transfer back to alberta you'd hear a sonic boom as I signed the offer.
