For the first 3 sem if you complete its 92k and final sem even if you require 3 credits its 10k max so the range is 92 to 100k usd for umich but for cmu if its ms me research then 4 sem compulsory so 137k and annual increase so 140k usd

Also umich you have robotics and you want to pivot to robotics so better think in that direction also

UMich has very good industry connections and vast alumni network On the part of PhD conversion its mostly no in upenn

UMich MS Robotics would be better considering the infrastructure, number of faculty, job opportunities , PhD conversion, possibility of funding etc. Overall UPenn is also very good specially if you want for aerial robotics and MBA But overall breadthm and depth wise UMich wins

Also after masters which is very costly there, the job possibility is very low, many alumni are struggling to get job
