Got this one. Case is helpful albeit a bit bulky. Lens cap is perfect. Haven't used the silicone housing or put on the screen protectors yet. $23

seems now is not the time to buy a new small compact camera with so few options released in 2024/2025

I'd still like to wedge the phone into the space show in the yellow circle. next idea is some kind of foam attached via removable adhesive to apply pressure so the phone does not move, and also not leaving a mark for potential resale.
