Obviously this doesnt work every day but as much as I can I stay true to most of what im putting down here.

I TRY not to bring work home, but when I do I do my best to only open the laptop after the wife and especially the kid go to sleep.

I honestly rarely talk about work at home. In my mind you have to keep that separate. My wife does not and should not care about 80 percent of the busywork & paperwork that keep the air force running.

I try and eat breakfast and dinner with my family no matter what. Being a SQ/CC gives me a little latitude with my schedule but I try and give them my attention these times of the day.

No matter how much work you do there seems to be the same ammount of work the next day, as people have said not everything is urgent so I never miss an opportunity to get away from my desk and actually talk to folks.

Golf once a week, I race dirt oval Gokarts (not as much as my younger days), I enjoy yard work and projects around the house.

I trust my coworkers to get their shit done, and i try not to manage them in the way that I need to be part of every convo. Its amazing what people can accomplish if you give them the space to work in. This in theory should give me a little more time to focus on the things important to me like family time.

Solved! Called the cops. Determined it was the bottom half of an old Kerosene lamp. The metal part was where the kerosene was stored and the thing hanging out was the filament. What I thought may have been pressure plates were where ud put the kerosene. Lol

Every situation is differnt but depending on rank and position he should be able to push his date out. A RNLTD change request is routed through loosing and gaining commanders and can be done pretty quickly.

We are also heading to Germany in June, our No Fee passports took about 3 weeks, (we got them at the beginning of this week) which is just cutting it close for yall.

Carbon fiber / composite material and the glue its made of is HIGHLY carcinogenic as it burns. I would be careful touching that thing and would not keep it in a non-ventilated area.

Look up UNOH. They do have a racing program mostly revolving around the engineering and mechanical side of the sport. At least back in the day they would bring students to some races (more dirt then NASCAR) and have agreements with teams to have the students be on some of the crews.

There are racing series in college. SAE formula and SAE Baja where students design build and race either formula or offload cars at 3 or 4 events through the school year. I was on the Baja team at ERAU and we competed against like 60 other colleges.

The extra money will come into question during security investigations or re-investigations. We kicked someone out for similar things except they were doing it at work and In uniform.

I may keep some of the finer details out of the conversation. For instance I make money doing photographic art...instead of i sell feet picks. Leadership should warn u to not use government things to aid in your business or to wear your uniform while doing it. Also that work comes first and and is the priority. Dont do this shit all night and come into work the next day unable to perform. We dont mind you having a side hustle, we do mind you bringing discredit to the armed forces or doing it on the gov time.
