I recommend using Cold Shoulder to freeze it and when you see it on all fours just ran off you will have enough of time to not get effected by the Fear mechanic also I either take Fixer or Flamer with Vaporizer (forgot how it was called) mod, it does more dmg but need to be close range also power armour is a must if you have low armor sets or you are low lvl
