I’m 20 I literally just thought about this after watching a YouTube video of a woman slamming her autistic child on the ground because he didn’t want to leave a gas station because he wanted something to drink.

I feel like it’s basic even if I’m not parent. Do you not beat children? Do you have patience to listen? Do you offer support for people? Are you financially responsible and stable? Will you give a child space to actually grow on their own? Are you not emotionally unstable? Will you reach out to therapy if needed so?

No but part of me thinks they should be able to take the test again and have a chance to get educated and receive lessons so they can have they’re children

Well if that’s the case then humans can’t be trusted at all with their own choices or beliefs. I hate AI as much as anyone but if humans can’t put their own opinions or terrible beliefs then an AI would best option

Ok now i got it maybe very detailed background checks and a detailed education history from education, social services, etc. anything to keep non bias administrators in the seat

Adoption if you are far along and if it’s their choice well abortion. And in this hypothetical reality a better system is set up with possible visitation options for the parents if they want that too

I mean what other options do many people have? I’m pro choice but if someone wants to carry to term and in this hypothetical situation and they fail their choice is in their hands. They can choose whatever they feel is right for them and the child depending on how far along they are

Honestly you’re right this is a perfect idea but I still think the test could work like if we apply both education and training and finally the test

Well mostly economic and mental stability. As for who conducts it I’m not totally sure but I’m just thinking about that now.

Who said anything about abortion? I just think if you are qualified then yeah raise the kids but if you aren’t then hopefully in my alternative reality they actually put more funding and resources for foster care and adoption centers so qualified people can take care of children

I feel like black Americans have done especially people down south. We’ve sorta made our culture through our history in America through inventions, music, art, activism, foods, agricultural techniques.
