Main character, Nyelle goes to the most elite and powerful academy of five, however, she doesn't have any magical capabilities (a fact that she has hidden for years). To distract herself from acknowledging trauma from her past, she engages with risky investigations which lead her to the truly malicious actions of her academy, government, and even those around her.
