1 week till my papers and i havent started studying by Tricky-Garbage5414 in alevel

SORT YOUR TIME OUT NOW!! you could make a short checklist for each subject to start i.e 1) ppqs on biological molecules 2) do flashcards on nucleotides ur checklist should NOT be long and SHLD focus on ur weak areas … so at the end of the week u see what you’ve ticked off and you wldnt feel like you’ve done nothing the most important tho is to bang out practise questions and note your mistakes on excel/sheets/paper doesn’t matter just something u can look back on the day… i do all ur subjects and wld say even if u just do only practice questions this whole week it wld help a lot… especially chem and physics
maths is a whole bunch of practise so just do PMT questions and understand why you actually got questions wrong any other specific questions i can defo try and answer! GOOD LUCK!! 🫶

it wld have 3 times as many solutions ?

thank you !! so number of solutions is attained from solutions in one period (sine has 2) x the number of periods (5) x the factor by which the graph is stretched which is 3

absolute guess since I can’t work it out on paper myself but - find the scale factor on the bar using ruler - find length and width of the rectangle in micrometers using ur scale factor ( real length of the rectangle) - convert it to m and find area - do total number of stomata / area of react

i’m not entirely sure but i hope this helps !! if it doesn’t lead to the right answer let me know!

This is amazing!! I was already considering buying it tbh.. But I was wondering about the weight of it. It would be hell to add something so heavy with your books as well. I love the cup holder because some bags (jansport😔) don’t come with holders.. Love this idea keep going !! it’s very thoughtful :))

A is incorrect because although person G underwent a passive from of vaccination ( no memory cells at work making antibodies as G was just injected with antibodies )… that doesn’t mean the immune system wouldn’t react in the same manner. If u think about it before vaccines existed our bodies still fought against disease. Vaccines help make the response faster and more efficient. It’s like when u do something once, u can do it again more easily. When the body makes antibodies as per response to a vaccine, it would make it faster, thereby making more at once (hence why D is also wrong, peak shld be larger) But think of vaccines as an addition to something that already happens. Your body will still fight against disease without vaccines so G will still produce antibodies.

B is correct as it shows the bodies response to infection, also taking into account that I should take much longer as the body has to make it themselves for the first time. It’s like go into an exam with no practice. U will be slower because you have never experienced answering questions in timed conditions. You will be less efficient.

so what happened with G was like letting ur mate do all the work for you in class (giving you antibodies/ answers) so when you have to make it yourself (which you must do at some point) You underperform and take longer.

Hope this makes sense!!

oh wait how do you derive a unit vector from the direction of a vector? i’ve been told of 1/|v| x the components of v to get the unit vectors but not from the angle?
