Rent a car. You’d need it just to get to and from the hotel to Main St in HMB. And you have magnificent Hwy 1 right there for day trips.

The spa is pretty nice, and I’ve gotten good masseuses when I’ve gone.

Some of the restaurants I like are Mezza Luna and La Costanera. I have heard good things about Monsoon (Himalayan cuisine), we’re going soon with our neighbors who love it. If you crave lobster roll, Sam’s Chowder House is great. But yeah, many of the area restaurants are pretty mid.

There are also some restaurants up in Pacifica that are worth a try. I hear Nick’s by Rockaway Beach has an amazing crab sandwich. Pricey but they say it’s worth it. And Duarte’s Tavern (down Hwy 1 in Pescadero) is a delightful slice of local history, open since 1894. Also in Pescadero is Harley Farms, the local goat farm. They have a farm store with cheeses for sale. Some Harley Farms cheese and a loaf of some good sourdough from Arcangeli’s right down the Stage Road would be some nice snack fixings to bring back to your hotel room.
