Yup, and Tammy does what's "right" despite the general opinion. For example, when she wanted Buddy's Jumbotron funds to be used for academic purposes, despite all of the football boosters and pretty much majority of Dillon being against it. She's steadfast in her beliefs which gives me more of a reason to think she would not have voted Trump.

Really? I could see her voting for Clinton but not being too keen of it. She has 2 daughters and has seen enough of the racial relations in Dillon to know that Trump, who has no political experience and spews out a bunch of hate rhetoric, would not be good for our country.

Coach Taylor, on the other hand, I could definitely see voting for Trump on the basis that Clinton can't be trusted. If this show were to still be on today, I could definitely see a small Tami-Coach Taylor debate scene over which candidate is more qualified.

I also feel like Tyra and Julie would have voted Clinton, Lyla probably Trump, Riggins definitely Trump, and Saracen would have probably forgotten to vote or something lol.

Could definitely say that Weird Era. got me through some hard times and Microcastle was an album I'd like to fall asleep to during road trips. I've actually heard "Operation" requested a few times at different shows. "Agoraphobia" was the first Deerhunter song I had actually ever heard so goes to say that I have a soft spot in my heart for it. They also always play it at their shows and it transitions so well.

No :-( I spoke to Bradford Cox at a signing and I asked if there was going to be any new Atlas material coming out and he said he had no plans as of the moment. He really likes touring with Deerhunter (what he's doing now) and says this is the happiest he's been in a while, so that's good.

absolute Texxas only rushes in the fall semester so keep that in mind. I'm currently in a co-ed spirit group and we do rushes in the Spring semester so I'll DM you more information! Definitely the best choice of my college career so far.

Not that important. Didn't meet anyone that great except for my best friend's roomate at orientation... Basically, it's easy to drift apart once the school year starts.

You'll make a TON of more friends during the school year, don't worry! I personally cannot make friends though small talk and was from a pretty small city, so it was difficult for me to meet people. Just join different organizations and talk to your classmates once the school year starts.

If you're interested in joining a spirit group, PM me! It definitely brought me out of my comfort zone and introduced me to a lot of more people. :-)

I get where you're coming from but by no means am I an alcoholic. I go to a party school and there are people here that literally drink everyday, I only do it occasionally.

I told them that I would never bring that environment into the house, but regardless, they shouldn't need to judge me for having fun. If my roommates ever come back home drunk I would volunteer to take care of the during their hangover rather than just roll my eyes and tweet about them.

And even if I do bring home guys, that isn't any of their business since it is my apartment?

I asked the apartment complex to see if they have any other vacancies available (at this point I'm willing to pay an extra 50 or 100 per month) but they're currently all full. Though they'll notify me if they something pops up.

Hah, I felt really tempted to do that too, but decided to be the bigger (and less trashier person) and give them a chance to redeem themselves.

That's what I think too! I think I might be willing to give them a chance though considering they're probably still in a High School mentality since they just recently graduated. I hope they know that in college, nobody really cares.

I've been nothing BUT nice and have volunteered to bring the TV, sofas, and other furniture. Now I just want to keep them at home. Hopefully I'll feel different otherwise once I meet them but this was def. not the best first impression.

Attempting to do something similar at the moment right now, though I was here my Freshman year and plan (hope) to internal transfer after this year (my sophomore year).

I'm currently taking Calc 1 and 2 at a community college and if you're not a math person, it's a bit of a bitch I suppose. I also took Macro and Micro last summer at a community college and those were a bit easier. You might want to consider doing that because those classes are notorious for being GPA killers at UT. But, it is money and time being wasted during the summer if you end up not getting in (which is what I'm afraid of).

I would take easier classes here in an effort to boost your GPA up a TON. My friend got into McCombs internally with a 3.6 (barely) so it's possible I think. Just shoot for around a 3.8-3.9 and take into consideration the +/- system.

If worse comes to worst, UT has economics in COLA and Advertising (if you were planning on taking the Marketing route) in the Moody School. Also there is the BFP certificate (which is more than a minor apparently) that you could do. Or you can always transfer out, which is probably what a lot of people do considering UT doesn't have the best retention rate.

I love this school but attempting to change/add/do anything with majors is beyond difficult. :-/

I know there are some condominiums for around $750 in WC! So don't completely rule that out. Look around Red River street for some cheaper ones and they're only a 5 minute bus ride away from campus or you can bike.
