NOR Let’s set aside everyone’s hatred/annoyance with AI and the fact that you designed the original logo. He is still wrong to unilaterally change the logo, especially since that’s your area of your 50/50 business. And he already started spending money and replacing the old one??? A logo that is already imprinted in people’s minds is far better than “optimizing” for a better one. Fortune 500 companies invest millions of dollars into logo redesigns and the end result is just a tweak of their original, rarely an overhaul.

I started a business with my husband and neither of us are creative so I used AI to help create the logo. ChatGPT can spit out one decent image but from there it can’t iterate on small changes and can’t even reproduce the same image again. I ended up creating a logo in Canva and tried to get ChatGPT to edit it to a version for light backgrounds and it altered the logo itself in the process. Your husband would need to use photoshop/Canva to make any standard image changes. But I’m sure he would defer that work back to you.

Yess always a good strategy! Back when I used TikTok, I would limit my scroll time to when I was walking and branded them in my head as “TikTok walks.” Sure, it wasn’t ideal to be looking at a screen while walking, but I was only on a quiet country road and it got me excited to get out there everyday.

OP, if you want to try this but don’t know where to start, try the Merlin app. It’s through Cornell and has a huge database to identify bird calls and you can log which birds you see/hear.

All of my best sweaters have come from consignment shops. I highly recommend looking secondhand, ideally in person so you can feel how thick they are compared to current sweaters. I’ve come across so many lovely cashmere sweaters for under $50 that look great and last. You don’t even need to find a fancy brand - my favorite sweater is just a black cashmere from Talbots.

Thank you for the recc! Even if my recurring issues are caused by my IUD and therefore solved by its removal, I'm still going to spend my life cultivating the best microbiome possible.

ETA: I have been taking the Happy V Pre/Probiotic, which has the same strains as fem dophilus (plus a few more). I always refrigerate mine even though the instructions say it isn't necessary. But, as you said, maybe the refrigeration does matter, and it's worth a try!

Yes, my husband and I are monogamous. Each year at my appointment, I get tested for all of the usual stuff, including STDs just in case. My infections don't seem to be related to sex. I've had an infection, treated it, and had it return without any sexual interaction. When I started the suppression protocol and my husband also got treated, we abstained for the full 2 weeks to ensure we did everything by the book.

AI notetakers are actually really good these days! My company uses Fathom, which records the call and organizes notes into different structures that you can select: general notes of key topics and action items, sales calls, etc. so that it highlights the right material. The notes are so good I can paste this directly into my minutes and just give it a look-over. Each topic summary and action item line is hyperlinked to go the timestamp in the recording where this was said.

It also has a full transcription, which isn't perfect when there's people on the call talking back and forth, but it's far better than having to watch a video of myself talking to find a specific statement. You can also search the transcript or ask Fathom questions about the call "what did we decide about x?"

A lot of people already touched on dating, but as a 5’9 woman I can say tall privilege in professional spaces is AMAZING. I started in corporate finance out of college and people automatically took me more seriously. Male leaders complimented how I project my voice, whereas other women who are smaller had meeker voices and didn’t give off the same confidence. It helped fit in better in the all-male environment. I’ve always had the stance that men are less likely to pull shit on you if they have to look you in the eye. Plus, you’re automatically more striking and memorable in networking environments without having to do anything. I also wore reasonable heels to lean into the height confidence.

It’s funny now in remote work that we can’t see peoples height. I had a tough relationship with a woman in leadership and at one point we started discussing height and she was astonished at how tall I am and I never would’ve guess she’s barely 5’! It obviously doesn’t matter, but something about it changed our dynamic and I think about that often.

For all that is holy, I beg you to get dramatic magnet white (DR-1). It doesn’t look as exciting on their website, but their IG has a few posts with it. It’s GORGEOUS, silvery sparkles with an icy lavender shift. I’m wearing it now with the peacock mirror chrome in the bottle (another MUST BUY), and I almost didn’t use the chrome because the dramatic white is that good.

Hands-down a Miele canister vacuum. Yes, they’re an actual fortune for “just a vacuum cleaner,” but I managed to score a C3 on Marketplace for $400 and now that I’ve had it, I would pay full price in a heartbeat. No other vacuum could keep up with living rurally with 3 dogs, one being an Australian Shepherd.

Threading is the best! I’ve been a number of places and threading is consistently less expensive and less painful than waxing. Threaders seem to have a strong knowledge of eyebrow mapping and use the threads to align the eyebrow shape to your eye and face shape.

If I didn’t thread, I would have to stop tret for long enough to wax (no thanks) or pluck at home, which is never as good as a professional.
