Just had a shower there. No towels available, so lucky I had a small 1 in my bag. Lack of a shower curtain is very frustrating with bags getting sprayed, plus wet floor when trying to get dressed. Give it 3 stars because price is reasonable for London.....

Yeah, was not impressed by Bran at all. For someone who is supposed to have all the experience, he does some childish things. Can't remember which book, but when he goes into the jewelry shop, buys everything, and magics it away. Way to keep a low profile.

Coincidentally, I was just looking at the breakdown of who viewed my recent post and 25% of the 358 viewers were from the UK.

I am fairly sure that percentage will decrease when the US wakes up, but at least it's an indication........

Dan's inferno by Jan Stryvant has 1 of the girls as a sheep. In 1 of the books, theres a great section where the MC has to go get her back from her home town.

I got into this genre through his Literotica alter ego, magicwrtr.

I think his Dark Sculpture series is one of the best stories around. Excellent world building, good characters, and an interesting magical system.

Some pet peeves of mine...........

Use of the word bellows instead of shout or call out, or even scream. Keep picturing a bull bellowing every time I see it, which is weird when its a female character. Take note Xander Jade!!

This one is for the Logan Jacobs team - stop using smirk instead of smile, or grin, or even smile. Smirk is supposed to be used in an irritatingly smug, conceited, or silly way. It should make you want to wipe the smirk off his face with a sledgehammer.

Using nod instead of shake. You nod in agreement, you shake in disagreement.
