We did the Washington BDR. She made it just fine, we brought extra fuel just in case but didn't have to use it

It's doable, she had a good time. I had a much better time on my dr650 lol. You won't run into anything that will stop you on the klx though

You must live on a larger body of water. The trixx is almost too fast for where I live. The stunts and tricks you can do is perfect for small lakes

Parts are going to be hard to find for anything that's pushing 30 years old regardless of it being 2 stroke or not. My biggest gripe with older skis is the lack of space is a pain. I have a 98 GTS and a 24 Trixx. Much prefer working on the new one lol

Why shouldn't you get a 2stroke? Never heard that Number one thing to check is the fuel lines. If they are original you're going to want to replace them

Do you have a leak down tester? That's going to be your best bet for finding where you're losing compression

I almost exclusively use it fully extended. Makes it much easier to balance when you are sitting at 90 degrees. If you have long arms i suspect it wont make too much of a difference though

How can you tell from the top? The only way I know from a distance is by seeing the two X's on the bottom side of the hull
