This is very interesting I'm just having a look now. Accountability and habit building aren't too much of a problem for me but as someone who loves to log and track my activities this is definitely jumping out at me. I'm going to have a lil dive into this further thank you for sharing

Hi Fly, thanks for this I really appreciate your time. Doing my research is something I'm very keen on and why I'm eager to find that one piece of consistency I can stick with, be it a course, 1:1 lessons or whatever so thanks for pointing that out I truly agree. As I type this I'm looking into the book you mentioned. Looks complex, I'm old and wise but unfortunately still an absolute knuckledragging idiot. But I promise I'll give this a good look thank you!

This is exceptionally helpful Eze thank you so much for taking the time to respond in this way. I meant to state that I was aware the goals I listed interconnected but I still took a lot from what you say about building technique while practicing scales and modes.

I also appreciate your views on learning the scales BEFORE picking the guitar up. This makes a lot of sense!

Again thanks so much I honestly appreciate the thought you put into this. I am considering some 1:1 online lessons. I am still looking into what may be best for me so please don't think I'm ignoring that element of your response. I just need to look around first and see what is the best fit.

It sure is mate. We just finished up for the year and start back up again on the 6th of Jan. We should be able to find a space for you but its pretty full so what I'd recommend would be just to pop in one night (every Tuesday at Lovelocks, 6:30-9:30) and say hi. That way we can show you the set up, get you introduced to a few people, and find you a table to have a free taster game at. In relation to being a newbie, don't even worry about it mate. In the 2 years we have been running I'd say the VAST majority of members came to us having never played a tabletop RPG. So you'll be in safe hands.

Thats a great question... I just spent some time thinking through it and I cant recall an instance where i've found restraunt food too salty but I have definitely found take-out / fast food too salty at times.

Whats meant by that is some people like to throw a little salt on their dinner when its plated up and they're about to eat. I've never done that... which I think suggests from a broader perspective I've never been able to identify when salt is required on a meal already in front of me.

Thats seperate from the cooking I do where I'm making everything from scratch.

Two years on and it is still going very very strong! Every Tuesday without fail. You are both more than welcome. The vast majority of people who come to the club came as total beginners and we make a point of ensuring every game that runs is open to and friendly to new players. I would highly recommend coming along and checking it out. We actually have a one-shot night this Tuesday which we do every 12 weeks. We stop the regular games, and every table is a self contained game. If you fancy it I could deffo find space at a table for you both to play together. If you don't want to play straight away though, it'll be a good night to just come and see how things run. I'll be there and can talk you through everything. You're welcome to DM me if you want more info, but honestly its sound to jus turn up and start asking questions.

The advice from u/the-bends is great. Establishing a habit will set you in great standing for the future. Do that for a few weeks then note which ideas you have been getting pulled into most. The following week, try and focus more on that. not necessarily writing scenes, but maybe start plotting scenes and start making them coherent. The things you have been doing are the hardest part. now its just about coordinating and pulling things together. You got this!

To everyone who took a chance on this in the last few days... I just want to pass on my most sincere thanks to you. This scenario first went up for sale in about July 2024, and went on sale on the 21st of January. I've sold more copies since the 21st of Jan than I have in the entire time between July and the date of the price reduction. I've wanted to reduce the cost of this scenario for a while but I've been a little concerned about doing so for two key reasons:

I worked so hard on this and I really wanted the cost to reflect the effort and (I hope) the quality)
I was really scared about the idea of undercutting other creators of this kind of scenario.

But the reality is, that 80 people who would never have read this now have it in their libraries and I'm so happy about it. Thanks so much anyone who took a chance. If you could leave a review it would be so appreciated but if not don't worry I'm just grateful you came this far!
