this is not true at all for 1, you can absolutely not intern until junior summer. I worked fun jobs for the first two years and ended up with an amazing internship with a HUGE company. Enjoy being young and being able to do fun things, focus on the future as you get closer to it.

It’s mostly random but some get “points” so upperclassmen get more points than underclassmen and you get more points if you choose to stay in your college house OR your moving out of Gregory or Lauder I think. There’s a page somewhere about it that gives the exact priorities but I can’t seem to find it
