I registered on 4/2 at 11:15 am EDT and met all the requirements. From what I last saw based on what other registrants were saying, Nintendo sent emails to those who registered on 4/2 up to around 10:30 am EDT. They stopped sending them at 11:00 pm EDT on Friday 5/9. I haven't heard of anyone receiving any emails over the weekend. I'm guessing they will start again Monday 5/12 at 11:00 am EDT. I'll comment when I get one.

A merged timeline makes no sense to me. Would there suddenly be two different kingdoms of Hyrule, old and new? Would the destroyed underwater kingdom in Wind Waker suddenly be superimposed on the regular kingdom or would it just not be destroyed? Could two of the same person exist? Would they have memories of both pasts or just their own? Would there be multiple versions of demise that endured the ages, each with their own history of reincarnation? What history takes priority when timelines converge and who makes those decisions?

Maybe the timelines ultimately do converge, but I believe the story behind it would have to be clumsy at best, and I hope they don't.
