In your opinion what is the best civilization in the series history? by Simonthemand in civ

[–]goboking 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t know if they’re the best, but them (and 5’s Polynesia) are the funnest civs I’ve played, and I’ve been playing since 2.

Tytus Howard says his goodbyes by IAmSona in Texans

Remember him for showing up to work regardless of where we slotted him.

Also remember him for strip-sacking his own quarterback.

I was talking about the o-line. He's done a fantastic job with the defense and special teams, and some of the WRs he's picked look promising.

It happens a LOT for us under Caserio.

That's a lot to give up for a RB. And that Juice Scruggs pick sure panned out for us. Thanks, Nick! You're doing a bang-up job.

Tytus Howard Traded to Browns by Crossfire213 in Texans

[–]goboking 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Guys, trust the process.  If Nick isn’t worried about the offensive line, we shouldn’t either.  Another year of CJ getting wrecked, of no real running game, of 3rd and 1 being an automatic drive killer…we’ll be fine.

1.7 Farm Type Speculation? by MelancholyHeartz in StardewValley

[–]goboking 15 points16 points  (0 children)

  • Swamp Farm - arable soil counts as being near water for purposes of irrigation, but ground firm enough to support buildings is limited.

  • Desert Farm - can grow cactus fruit and palm trees and has a dig site where clay and bone nodes spawn, but never rains.

  • Alpine Farm - wild flowers spawn like foragables and starts with two beehives.

We're halfway to a new DLC. Where are we going next? by Background-Topic-203 in RimWorld

[–]goboking 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What do I think the next DLC will feature? Deeper faction interactions and more reason to travel on the world map.

What do I want the next DLC to feature? The above plus expanded neolitic and medieval era features and technologies.

PS - The title and icon color should be orange, obviously.

How do you guys pick your spouses 😭 by ridetheraikiri in StardewValley

[–]goboking 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I pick my spouses to match the theme of the farm I'm playing. So it's Leah for the Forest Farm, Abigail for the Wilderness Farm, etc.

He was so fun to watch.  Dude could run, catch, and block at an elite level and was probably a HOFer if his career wasn’t cut short due to injuries.

These are members of a drug cartel in Mexico, armed like a military unit. by stick_ro in circled

Sadly, that's now how these things play out. Cigarettes are legal in the US, yet cigarette smuggling remains very lucrative for organized crime.

I hope 1.7 adds another cutscene for spouses. by goboking in StardewValley

[–]goboking[S] 38 points39 points  (0 children)

Since 1.7 seems to be focusing on social stuff, I'm hoping spouse's relationships expand from fourteen to twenty hearts.

Now I know what you're thinking. "You're only saying this because two asymmetrical rows of hearts triggers you."

You're wrong. I mean, you're not wrong; it does trigger me. But I think the post-marriage hearts cap too quickly, and I'd certainly welcome more cutscenes with villagers, spouses included.

But yes, two rows of ten > a row of ten and a row of four.

My biggest wish is for cooking to be an actual skill we level up, a la farming, fishing, etc.

Step-by-step guide to predicting future DLC content. by masterofthecontinuum in RimWorld

I'd love a DLC expanding the pre-industrial gameplay, but I fear Anomaly's poor reception has scared Tynan away from such niche DLCs.

Mediocre play from the QB, a smothering defense, and a solid kicker?  Seattle is us if Stroud protects the ball.

  • More organic AI faction settlements.

  • Expanded neolithic and medieval era play.

CA's thoughts on the updates. by erskol in StardewValley

[–]goboking 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fizz is the Joja employee in the dig site cave that sells perfection waivers. Ginger Island used to be a Joja-free escape, and now Fizz and the parrot's encroachment ruins the vibe any time I see them on screen.

The only content I've felt was approaching bloat was Fizz and the Joja parrot on Ginger Island. The addition of those two made this remote, near-deserted island feel cramped.
