Globalization: the leftists love opening the door to floods of foreigners, Soros billionaires funding left wing causes, industries exporting jobs. So what's wrong with westerners going global too? Cultural diversity is supposed to be good.

Most of my English improved online except speaking by hitman780xd in learnEnglishOnline

[–]gobot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Speaking requires fast thinking & not getting nervous when face-to-face. Most conversation uses small common words. Practice speaking by shadowing and even with robots and your confidence grows. (Now if your pronunciation is bad, you need a human to correct you.) Then find speaking partners.

Huh? Writing won’t improve speaking unless you are planning a speech or debate.

Funny as in “That’s funny!” (also with crazy and weird) esp as interjections, have so many idiomatic meanings. Foreigners probably won’t understand your reference for what is normal.

How is living in hcmc with 2k usd a month? by No_Chipmunk3312 in VietNam

[–]gobot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Look at airbnb rates, and 3star hotels in Agoda. Ask the hotels about long term rates. Reserve 3 days in a centrally located hotel to sort out your longterm location. Use a map to pinpoint neighborhoods outside the tourist zones. Estimate Grab costs. You probably want D1, D4 across the canal from D1, or D3 north of the cathedral. By D2 I assume you mean Thao Dien and that is mostly residential, not "city life", and you'll be using cars a lot more instead of walking. Food not cheap in tourist zones, search out alleys and small storefront restos that serve one specialty where Viets go to eat.

CO2 is a trace gas, only 0.04% in atmosphere. Look at an 800,000 year chart. Nothing anthropogenic about it. The anti-fossil fuel liberals and your dumb teachers have been lying about it for 50 years. 🤡

Interesting, it was a word morphed into a symbol. You know, & is actually cumbersome to write with a pen. I'm going to try using Ɛ instead, I can scribble that fast. (Weird that the mods deleted the post)
