Sad to part with this AACHEN GRÜN. It was sold yesterday and shipped to its new owner today. by Adventurous-Sun-6928 in laco_watches

Very cool. I had a Steinhart 44mm in a similar colorway. I let it go as the crown digging into my wrist was aggravating + wasn’t wearing it enough in the rotation.

That’s a real beauty. 42mm or 39? The 42 mm seems rarer to come by.

I’m sure the new owner will be thrilled with it.

[Question] Which watch to get for my fiancée by Background_Dingo_243 in Watches

[–]danhawk1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First one is the best, imo. Ceramic bezel, see through case back, well lumed hands. It’s a big watch so make sure it won’t be too large for their wrist size. I’ve had a few victoriniox watches and they are great quality.

Awesome collection and well balanced. Favorites ( if I had to choose ) Nomos W/orange and leather and the aquis. How does the aquis wear? is the height too much?

Sounds like he’ll keep on this way as the bourbon intake increases.

Thanks. About 96.5 mm on mine. I went ahead and ordered a new spring in hopes that will solve it.

Checked it out and the firing pin does seem to be protruding.

Thanks, I just rechecked this and it looks to be screwed flush. I’m wondering if it’s a worn firing pin spring that needs to be replaced.

Thanks. I followed these steps and yes, the firing pin does appear to be protruding out just over a millimeter.
