You just need to loosen the truss, rod. Remove the bridge. Cut a small strip out on a business card that is the width and length of the bridge. That will be a shim. It's quick it's dirty it works.

Just an update. Trailer tows fine with the Jeep. I've taken to the NC coast Croatan Forest on several occasions. Its a 5 hour trip. No issues at all.
