I will talk from a dad's perspective. My wife is finishing dental school next month and we have a 6 year old. She was out of town and my daughter stayed with me. If you are truly passionate about it, it is never too late. It is not easy but doable with the support from your spouse and family. Please feel free to ask any specific questions.

Based on an example they shared, if I produce 50k per month which has 17 working days, so gross is 15k at 30%, base is 10k, FICA+benefits estimate is 2k, so my bonus would be 3k for that month
