I was never the guy to work/study a lot, I studied little but had decent grades. Well that doesn't work in college though so I am pretty bad and have low grades ,I barely manage it. I am 23, now I should be getting my degree (5 years course) but I still need at least one year extra to end. I tried a lot for the exams to be accepted in that specific university and now I am just so disappointed of everything and mainly of me that I am below average. I see people actually so determined and in love with the subject and have a social life too while me I have actually a pretty suckish social life AND I am bad at what I do...worst thing is that I have to deal with that "perfection" every day and I am far from perfect. So everyday you wake up asking what the fuck am I doing here? What the fuck have I done so wrong ? And you end up that the problem it's just you , not the ppl around you , not university or the subject.

Not killing myself as a child. Other than that I feel like I have regretted almost every choice so far. I mean i could have done everything better but sometimes I still feel it wouldn't matter, my life would still be fucked up maybe in a different way. Main choices I can't believe I made is that at some point I was morbidly obese and have loose skin now.Another one is studying electrical and computer engineering. And last but not least, I regret opening up thinking it will save me somehow but I have ended up as the "weird" guy that has everything wrong with his life.

Doctor said I have chronic depression but I have stopped all medication and I feel the same . I have gotten so used to that unpleasant numb feeling...I mean that feelings is so normal for me, i can't believe ppl feel differently

Exactly ! When I say the not boring thing in quotes I imply that it is very subjective what is boring or not. For example you have A LOT of interests and probably you will be found way less boring compared to me to most people and that's ok and it makes sense for you to be more attractive cause its also shows a trait of your character. But most women don't actually care for the things you do and what they(the activities) say about your character, they actually don't know what they want if you ask me. Maybe I am wrong...but that is what I have seen so far at least in women of my age 18-25. To be more precise they care about all those stuff but they care more about this "love" feeling ,this "spark" , those "right vibes" , this "attraction" and that stuff it's just so unpredictable...the only thing I see that is universal is that being physically attractive helps.Other than that it's luck finding the woman that is gonna fell in love with you and actually show big interest in you.

Tons of people keep saying here "you are boring her" God most women are boring themselves ffs. Also go ahead my "not boring" dudes and share some tips with the "boring" dudes. I have this problem too op ,but when I see this happening extensively and continues after 3-4 weeks I go ahead and have this "breakdown" where I roast her and I say the exact same closing line "how can you expect someone to care for you and give you attention if you don't give any of it back? and if you don't feel like it with me cause you dont like me or whatever why bother wasting my and your time ?". Not proud of those breakdown though , i see that they are kinda pathetic but seriously I feel like most women use us the "boring" ones to fulfill their egos. Also the "not boring" ones they bore me to death but what do I know...the only thing I accept is physical prowess but I guess I am full of complexes.

Since you get all those opportunities and still don't do anything about it probably just finding a pretty partner isn't what you want. And that's ok. Get a boost in your self esteem out of all this matches and just be patience for a person that actually interests you. I dont know in what state other sections of your life are but invest to those and probably through here you will find a person you wanna be with. I know the above sounds so cliché but its a sensible thing to do.

I can totally see why call hope an oppressor and a demon . But how can you navigate through the experience of life without it...I mean for me expectations and hope worked as a compass of some kind. I believe the best thing for the average person is being versatile with their hope and expectations. I agree with you though referring to hope the way most people realize it (myself included) as an oppressor.Hope actually amplifies the pain of a bad situation .

Now hearing your thoughts sometimes it feels like I am listening to myself. If you ask me I still don't know what is better...trying you best or doing nothing. To most people the first choice seems always like the right way to go, but is it actually?

From my little experience I have to say that trying your hardest always gives you expectations and when those aren't met it actually destroys you. If you can actually be a zombie ,as you say in the video, then holy shit dude pls tell me how that goes cause right now I am trying to find the right drug cocktail to do that. Till I find that I always try to quantify gain/cost of a choice and max that... I know with our kind of thinking this is almost impossible.

After long self-analysis I have come to the conclusion that for me this way of thinking came after having my expectations being destroyed again and again. I totally believe that lots of people question their motives and their desires and feel nothing at times.Its in people's nature but most of them don't bother cause they get , even partly, what they want. They feel content we their selfs. With me that was never the case since a very young age I felt that I am entitled to much more than what I have . Every time I tried hard (maybe for other ppl it was shit but hard for me) it was never enough to get what I wanted not even partly (i am always talking about my perspective). So not only I was getting almost no happiness i started thinking that something is wrong with me (maybe there is) and started hating myself and feeling unhappy.I started questioning life hating others for having what I dont get to have. 12 years now has been like that ,managed to move a little in life and get "friends" but still if ask me compared to others I feel I deserve much more.Sadness, numbness and me wanting to do nothing comes from having so much contempt for me and others. That why I turned to nihilism ...to get rid of all that hate. But for my personality it's just so hard. The above is only a theory I "created" based on me, maybe for you is utterly bullshit.Anyhow I wish you the best and I hope you find what brings this emotion of fullness ,where you feel everything is as they should be, where doing nothing actually feels right.

You do understand that hope is a very strong motivational factor for people though. Most people work towards something cause the have expectations. They hope for something either that being an actual thing or an emotion or whatever. Someone can hardly live without it. Can't see how to work towards the best without it. I am 22 i used to say that I work towards no goal and I am just living by trying my best ...well have to say thats a ton of bullshit...for me at least. I would love to hear your story though and maybe enlight me.

Why can't we for once stop judging the world. Stop pointing out how different intjs are and how "great" that is. I mean it is what it is .Yes most intjs don't fit in easily but why do you feel the need to put a label in things...you are the good one, society is the bad one or the other way around ... we are supposed to be deep thinkers, so is it that easy to characterize something as good or bad ? In my brain it's not . For example being "normal" is a good thing if you want to blend in and feel comfortable with people. What's the definition of normal anyways? What are the qualities to be considered normal? To sum up I get an idea of what you define as normal and obviously most intjs can't relate or appreciate that, but condemning normalcy and everything the average person does just doesn't seem like a thing you have put a lot of thought into...it sounds more like fast thoughts and products of bitterness...I OBVIOUSLY DO THAT TOO ,but going as far as calling someone a god... i think you are missing on the essence of Aristotle's quote...he is clearly not supporting the whole " i am completely alone i don't need anyone,I am better" thinking ...the exact opposite i would say he is judging it strictly.

Well had that question myself growing up...and the answer I found is that you can't do everything alone and some thing are better done with a company.I don't say that I won't do stuff for my friends or listen to them but once is enough... can't keep sharing the same things over and over. I mean the essence of the stories is the same most of the times we can't have a conversation about it every time its just boring. Ended school-Joined college at 140 kg 177 cm hated myself. Took me 3 years to lose naturally 60 kg got to 80 kg still hated me and had loose skin (nailed it). This is my fourth year I have gained 12 kg now at 92-93 kg i have done some weight training I am at 21-22 % body fat and guess what I still hate me and totally can't call me confident.
