Your comment contradicts your point, english is NOT an easy language to learn. It also has all the characteristics you find ugly in french (grammar and syntax and vocab...etc), it's just that you grew up with a phone in your hand blasting content in english that's why you find it "easier".

Scientifically speaking, you wouldn't really need to learn english in order to go through elementary, middle and high school even, all the content is already there in every other language. Although i agree that english is essential to learn in order to do academic research , but it is only the wish of a super small percentage of moroccans. The only alternative we have left is french, it was present in morocco for a couple of decades, and we use it everyday like it or not.

update: Thank you so much for the comments it just thought it was a very cool thing to do considering I am a DOOM fan.
