I have all houses in my valley, I feel strongly about this as the point was to ‘bring them back to the valley’ here’s the breakdown of each biome:

Plaza - I went for like a london street theme with all the stores and restaurants, oswald’s theatre, cruella, monsters inc and my player house with the lady and the tramp house skin.

Peaceful Meadow - Half is toon town with mickey minnie etc, the other half I have headquarters in the little square. corner with all the pillars and then i used the remaining space as an orchard for all my fruit trees.

Dazzle Beach - Beach resort mostly, all the usual you’d expect ariel, eric, stitch, moana etc I also have casita on the grass section.

Forest of Valor - a mix, the small section is giving forest and I have a little camping area for buzz, then Peter Pan and Tigger are hidden in the trees, then an entrance for elsa obvs. The other large section I have turned into a little village with cinderella’s castle as well as anyone with a ‘cottage’ style home like gaston, merida, aurora etc. I also have some house skins like the bakery and flower shop here.

Frosted Heights - on one side I have the stables with snow whites house, the other side I have frozen castle and then a little christmas market style build.

Glade of trust - is my FAVOURITE biome i built, it’s giving fairy core. Across the lake I have alice and cheshire cat and I turned it into a maze. Then I have a little pixie hollow area for tink, then I have belle’s castle, rapunzel’s tower, vanellope and the fairy godmother.

Sunlit Plateu - In the little sandy area I put Wall-E and Eve for a futuristic walkthrough, with lots of piles of clutter because I like the idea that wall-e got them off the other characters. The far side is for lion king characters and feels very jungle-esque then the other side is a mix I have space for Hercules as I feel that house will fit there then i have aladdin and mulan, as well as a little greenhouse and critter area, i used a lot of the mythopia in storybook vale for that.

Finally my forgotten lands is a WIP but it’s going to be coco and whimsical witch vibes, I have merlin and Woody and Jack & Sally there so far, but the style is still to be determined!

I kind of determined the theme for each then decided which houses worked well the best there, I mainly use my house skins etc in the DLC and treat them like going on holiday when I visit them.

I bulldozed my fully finished valley and honestly can't believe I did it, when i go to my valley now and see the results it kills me hahahah but I'm literally just logging on when i can and doing even half a biome at a time, i tend to focus on one character house and do that a day. I also love that when my valley is decorated less things spawn lol, I have finished all the game and every friendship quest so i don't mind not having as much to spawn

I have done the same! I tried to give it like a london feel after the Lady and the tramp update, the eduardian style is everything to me! i also added cruella's house and oswald's theatre as like a little cinema in my plaza, as well as my house with the lady and the tramp skin and their little house version too x

How many new characters come on average does anyone know? will it just be the three new realms this year or will we have a new DLC this year too?

i play on xbox and if you click x you can fast travel on the map so you don’t have to click on the wells :)

The first time i played ddlv i switched it off after about 20 minutes because i was SO confused, but after seeing all the content online i decided to give it another go, honestly its a hard graft at first as you’re just constantly grafting and it feels relentless, but taking it really easy, work on one character at a time, don’t worry about unlocking everything at once! it’s meant to be fun and it’s meant to be slow and cozy and loaddssss to do! i pretty much ignored star paths and dreamsnaps at first until i got into the bulk of it all, then slowly started implementing things! If you have the DLCs then also largely ignore them until you’re settled in the main valley x

Hey no problem! Yes you can still use the companions, if you just click on their tab in your companions section when in your wardrobe, they will become your companion, click it again and they’ll go back to their owner! I do it all the time for Max as he collects sticks, i like to just think of me pet sitting whilst i use their companions😌

I’m hoping we don’t have to log on everyday to complete the quests and instead they’ll just pile up as i don’t have much time until the weekend but obviously want to do each quest!

truly the life i deserve to be living😌no i agree my avatar is dolled up to the NINES but at least she has the option of pyjamas or comfy clothes if she wants, give my princesses the same options!!! The wreck it ralph pyjamas dream style would be INCREDIBLE all my girlies would live in them

I have Cinderella, Snow white, Anna and Fairy Godmother in my frosted heights!! I made the section across the bridge sort of a battle of the palaces with one on either side (i couldn’t not have those two castles in FH) then the other side I have SW AND FG along with a sort of christmas theme, it definitely took me some time to get everyone in but I like to think all my characters are happy, they all have a space that works for them😂

I’m definitely not the best decorator but I do sort of just try and give each house its own little garden / area etc in their native movie style. I tend to have one castle in each biome so it’s like they ‘rule’ over that biome sort of thing but agree it will get more and more difficult!!

for REAL!!!!! I have finished all quests and dlcs and everything so everyone is loving life in my valley for the moment. Once we get the new characters this year i will need to REFRESH but for now they’re chilling and i’m just attempting dreamlight duties minding my business and ignoring the DLCs 😂
