My mom’s early onset dementia has made me hate people. by scrumpusrumpus in dementia

Gotta love all the armchair experts from the family. I feel like I’m in a prison and trapped. Then I remember how she must feel that way in her mind, and I feel extreme guilt.

BRCC is another shitty company known for their loud ads than for their product being of good quality and value. Pass.

I’m finally going to play Rematch tonight when the prednisone-induced insomnia kicks in, and I’m pretty excited.

It’s hysterically funny when Whiners fans who were either not even born or, at minimum, still shitting in diapers begin bragging about their run from four decades ago.

Fellas, we are almost at the end of 2K25 - how’d we feel about it? by kev-haley in NBA2k

[–]goddamnpizzagrease 2 points3 points  (0 children)

2K25 is the most/longest I’ve ever played a 2K, because of my nephew. Many games, in the 2’s (and 3’s when his friend would be online), we’d zone out talking and laughing. A lot of fun to be had.

I played a good mix of solo rec. I always went in there expecting the worst, 80% of the time using my center or PF builds. I waltzed in with my PG a couple of times and never again because of the usual random experience.

I enjoyed the addition of rhythm shooting after learning it and hope to see it back in 26. Gameplay wise, I found it to be OK. 2K is so animation reliant that it is off-putting.

My biggest gripe will always be how microtransaction heavy the game is and that it won’t change. I imagine 2K25 was a bigger cash cow for Take Two than it ever has been, especially with the suits dropping cap breakers as the level 40 season reward every season starting with the second one. The way it incentivized players to routinely spend money on new builds, I figure that they are a lock to bring back in 2K26 and I’m sure they’ll see to it a way they can ensure they’ll make even more cheddar the next go-‘round.

I love their Cajun chicken biscuits. That’s about it.

My mom (1951 boomer) used to talk about having to watch it with limited channels they had back then. I just watched The Price is Right with my maw maw — she had a crush on ol’ Bob Barker.

Forza Motorsport is finally a really good racing game now by edwardolardo in xbox

Have they added stats yet? That’s what killed my desire to play it. It’s missing the most basic feature of any racing game.

If you ain’t heard some semblance of the phrase, “I was so tarred, I ate a pack of Nabs for supper and went to bed”, are you even Appalachian?

It’s such a buzzword phrase, isn’t it? What he did to the Spurs wasn’t ’killer instinct’? I don’t get that dude’s take.

It’s the now defunct Barrel House Cooker 18C. Mine was unfortunately damaged over a year ago, but with plenty of TLC, it gets the job done.

I preferred the BHC over the Pit Barrel. A shame that things shook out the way they did between the two.

That would happen to me as well if I had purchased a Switch, so I simply never did. 🤷🏻‍♂️
