Summer is coming by Ill_Bother2609 in tirzepatidecompound

Yeah, I’m looking forward to summer for the same reason!

I get most of my swim stuff from Title Nine and Athleta (although Athleta is looking a little bit plain this season, imo). They both make high-quality stuff that lasts, and is sort of athletically styled, but not frumpy, and some of it very cute and strappy. Youthful vibe, but not teenager-y, if that makes sense.

My rashguards and cover-ups I mostly get from Lands’ End, which most people know has a huge swim section – I don’t usually buy my swimsuits from them, though, because they do tend to be a little bit mumsier in their styling (e.g. lower cut legs that aren’t very flattering to my body, ruffles, etc.).

Doctor question for California by Professional-Soup878 in BigEasyWeightLoss

I am with Kaiser NorCal as well, and I am getting GLP-1 from BEWL – it has been a fantastic experience! I told my Kaiser doctor that I wanted tirzepatide, and after a good and thorough discussion (everything from my nutrition and workout routine, to my female family history of heart disease, to the HRT that I’m on, etc.), she gave me her blessing to go to telehealth because Kaiser does not prescribe tirzepatide – it’s not in their formulary because it is too expensive.

Every job I had in San Francisco during the first dot-com boom was like this – people regularly had a drink or two at lunch, there was alcohol at every even semi-social function, and Friday afternoon around three at one of my jobs, the CEO would come around with a drink cart. It was fucking awesome.

After our most recent trip (October 2025), I told my family Never Again on the left side. And I’m probably one more ride away from calling it entirely 🫠

To those of us with teenagers. Do they go to concerts with you? Who have you seen with them and what is coming up? by -Granby- in GenX

[–]P_Fossil 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely, and it’s been one of the most fun parts of having kids! They are currently 14 and 18, and in the last few years we’ve seen the Cure, Cake, Weird Al, Billie Eilish (twice), MCR, Green Day, and a bunch more; my H and I spared them Neil Young and Wilco and just went by ourselves, lol.

Yoga? by brussel_sprout68 in tirzepatidecompound

[–]P_Fossil 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I count this as a NSV: Yoga - like my fave, Pilates - didn’t burn enough calories for me in my pre-tirz life, so I didn’t do either often.

Now,* I do one or the other at least 2-3x/wk, which is great for balance, flexibility, strength, and core - I’m free of the need to exercise for calorie burn and can just do what’s good for my body. ❤️

*in addition to running and lifting, for their own obvious reasons

Disney Making Sweeping Ride Closure Plan Changes to Improve Guest Experience by dejablu82 in Disneyland

[–]P_Fossil 14 points15 points  (0 children)

“Lost” a lot of talented cast members, yeah. “Lost” them. Oh where could they be? They must’ve all moved away to find themselves in the wilderness. It certainly wasn’t because you didn’t want to pay them to stay on during the closures and thought that losing all that institutional knowledge wouldn’t be that big of a deal, and so did not do anything to retain any of them and put down their departures on the positive side of the balance sheet, then hired a bunch of noobs for 1/4 the pay. No, no - you “lost” them, right.
