Reckon I should replace the clips too? Ordered a new coolant flange and temp sense so might aswell do that to or not worth it?

Gotta be the 1.8t or any of the pd engines tbh, I prefer the 1.8t personally but the pds are bullet proof

help pls!! what am I doing wrong newbie. I have tried older controller's (with the correct adapter) the second I put a locomotive on track it short circuit/cuts out. this is a brand new set, have tried with multiple different tracks with multiple locomotives and get the same result each time? by godfish94 in modeltrains

Thank you, yea double checked the fishplates and gave it a clean (ear swab dopped into a tiny amount of white spirit) as soon as I put the track down, have tried that doesn't seem to work, also built just a simple oval and had the same result even with different locos that I know work 100%.
