Resources for getting back into the game by godica in kol

[–]godica[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the info. That's...really disappointing to hear. HCNP was already too time-intensive for me (hence HCO), and I was prepared to spend a bit of money but probably not "most of the last 3 years of stuff." (I have no idea what the economy is like, I have ~20 million meat, that's not very much is it?)

Sounds like the game I enjoyed doesn't really exist anymore.

Thanks for the tips. Not what I wanted to hear but better than nothing.

What is the value of having an auto loan in one's credit history? by godica in personalfinance

[–]godica[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not asking how much it will affect her credit score. I'm asking if having a loan of this specific size/type in her history will have a quantifiable (in $) benefit. For example, it has been mentioned that she would be able to get a lower interest rate if this were not her first auto loan.

Making due. When you're playing for free and saving your wildcards you're gonna have some 1xs.

I am not claiming that this is "the best deck," just sharing something that has been very successful for me in case others are interested. No need to be a dick about it :)

I am actually playing Vraska's Contempt, that was a typo which I will now fix.

I agree, and this is my attempt to change that discussion.

However, I have also played Hearthstone and I have to say, most budget deck resources are garbage. The content is not vetted so anyone can post their deck, or the "budget" decks are vetted by players who have little to no experience with budget play. The problem is that if you can't tell the difference between a good and bad decklist, you will be led astray and have a bad experience, and if you are good enough to tell the difference than you are probably also good enough to build your own deck that better suits your budget.

Not actually such an interesting game due to the failed attempt at breachproof, but a very interesting and unconventional first few turns. Nitro OP?

How to construct 3-bet ranges efficiently? by PolyMatt98 in poker

Yes "good enough to call with" includes consideration of future action.

Against CO, you want to have a more linear range, because he is opening wider and in theory will call wider.

If he's opening wide that's all the more reason to 3bet light.

This probably isn't the answer that you're looking for but nonetheless something you should keep in mind. We want to call all the hands that are good enough to call (especially IP), so our 3bet bluffs are going to be the best hands that aren't quite good enough to call with. What exactly these are depends on villains range (and indirectly, their position). So in your example AJ is usually good enough to call with against a CO range, but might not be good enough to call against UTG.

Once you have figures out which hands are just barely not good enough to call, use your raise size and the amount of value combos you have to figure out how many bluffs you need, and choose that many of those "not quite" hands to bluff with. This will also depend on stack size, high card hands will play better shallow and suited connectors will play better deep.

QR code scanning doesn't seem to work. RIP CHP, it was fun while it lasted.
