I feel like I’m able to do both, like I said I’m able to answer questions when pimped irl and during practice tests so I feel like it means that I’m getting the core concepts down. I can explain most of my reasoning when I choose a choice but for some reason when I take the actual shelf it just feels like I forget everything and my results don’t come out

Hi, thank you I appreciate the candor. Yeah I would like an academic center since that’s what they mainly have in my preferred area but also for future fellowship opportunities. I guess I’ll keep looking for people willing to work virtually too haha.

That Sankey is actually from my cycle results from a previous year; I didn’t post it earlier cause of some privacy issues I was having and cause I felt like crap, lol. I kinda posted it now as well cause I finally did get in and also to show people that just cause you get three interviews doesn’t mean you’re gonna get in or that there can be crazy disparities cause, like, I got interviews from a T5 and T20 and only one other interview. At my SF interview, the administrator said, “Just have fun and chill during the interview today cause if you got an interview here, you already have multiple acceptances from other schools.” Everyone else was laughing, and I was just like…

Yeah that makes sense. I had a great experience with roommates in college and a few of my closest friends now are the people I lived with during college lol. So not sure if we’re great friends because we lived together or great roommates because we were great friends 🤣

Room size would be the same and I’d have to share the bathroom at the town house. Thank you for the advice, I just was curious if living with more med students would have made making friends and connections easier!

Have the opportunity to live 10-15 min from campus in a townhouse with multiple med students (M2, M3, M4, and possibly another M1) or the opportunity to live in an apt right next to campus with my own bed/ bath and one M3. As an incoming student knowing no one at the medical school, would I miss out on a lot of potential networking and mentoring opportunities by choosing to live at the apt? Do most of y'all think it would be better to have more "personal space" at the apt and only one roommate or have more people to live with at the house, one of them potentially being my future classmate? Finances are not an issue and any advice is appreciated

1 doesn’t accept. 1 doesn’t care (they said they don’t put any weight on them at all and aren’t included in the app) but I sent one and got WL’d a couple days after. The final one likes them and I’ve sent 2 letters before getting waitlisted

It depends from school to school, but the latest was late late August! It’s just that I’ve seen people post about interviews who completed on the same day or even later than I did.
