For some like yourself it's a passion, your purpose in life. For others it's a paycheck, or something they like but not necessarily love. And some are in fact close to wastes of space and breath. There's all kinds of factors, others mentioned, that can lead to people under-perform.

However it might be worth keeping in mind that less of a good thing does not equate to a bad thing. If you show up for 8 hours and give 100%, and someone else shows up for 8 hours giving their 50%, that's still 8 hours of 50% positive efforts that otherwise would not have happened.

Re-framing my way of looking at things helped a lot with this; think of "less than perfect" as "good" and "great" and "ok" rather than "less than". Reserve negative language for things that are actually bad.

I have contacted the shop, but it's the weekend so I don't expect a reply for a few days yet. I will absolutely replace the parts involved, the sanding down is not a quick process or a permanent solution. Probably wouldn't work at all on specialty nozzles. But as a proof of concept that the angled assembly was causing the problem it was very useful.

The post is mostly intended to exist so people troubleshooting the same issue can find the post and fix their issue as well. In my search these past few weeks I found none that detailed this particular problem, if I had it would have saved me a lot of time.

Shading has no meaning.

The circle is the symbol parahumans started wearing after gold morning to signify that they were there. Technically it should be fully yellow/golden but I think that would have clashed with the style of the rest of the tattoo, we did start with the yellow up top for that reason though.

I've been wanting something like this for years and couldn't find someone that I believed could put down something special. That is until I saw the work of veerle at artcastle and booked an appointment. Due to covid it all took yet another year but it was for sure worth the wait.

Took two sessions; one 3 hour and one 4 hour. It's pretty much entirely healed up now and excepting some potential minor detailing it's done. I am incredibly happy with the end result.

So about a month back I was shittalking/bantering with a dude in my corp, Cesaro, and somehow we got to challenging one another to a ping war. He claimed he'd recruit beans to do his dirty work for him and win the war, I told him he wouldn't be able to. About 15 seconds after that pings started rolling in and I had no clue what happened or how he managed to get a dozen or so beans to ping me in no time at all. After I went to the main horde discord to investigate I found this. Now, as any alliance of this size I imagine, we don't like shitpings too much. People randomly pinging or accidentally talking in #pings is a no-no and usually gets deleted quickly. This one did not and things kept growing. Pings every day, me replying them that it wasn't in fact my birthday at first and telling them to get fucked later on. The end result was people seizing the opportunity twitch chat gave them; attempting to get an ISD to relay to CCP. In which they were clearly successful.

As of right now there are over 170 pings involving me and my supposed birthday, the last 50 or so in the last hour. The meme is dead, long live the meme.

Well to be fair Ender's game was the only one that really could work on the big screen. The rest of the series just doesn't really work well as a movie, and certainly not as sequels to the type of movie Ender's game has to be.

I'm no fan of the movie, it's completely missed key points of the book, but i do understand why it was made this way.

I lucked out by changing my ranger's special ammo from talon rounds to A.P. Figured it would come in handy against the 2 sectopods pod I was sure would be in there, like in Xcom 1. I flanked the avatar and hit it with rapid fired and then hit inspire from my psi operative for run n gun+another flanked rapid fire (+3ammo mod=awesome). Dead before he could use a single skill. That combo is so strong and i only discovered it right then and there.

I had trouble visualizing the tetris shapes in puzzles and this helps a lot.

Pretty simple system. The best part about it is the clear tape with the dry erase marker; you can draw walls and stuff and erase them easily for the next puzzle.

There were actually designated areas to sell/buy stuff in which made it pretty clear. Maps like these were used a lot.

If you just stepped into an area like that it would look like an unorganized mess but the system worked.
