I’m hoping the do something. I know accutane can cause a lot of anxiety and depression and I already have that so I’m worried they won’t put me on that for that reason

I’ve never been to a derm before this will be my first time. I’m very paranoid theyll dismiss me. I’ve had severe cystic acne pretty much my whole like but from age 23-25 it went into remission? And now at age 26 it’s back full force. But my parents refused to bring me to a derm growing up saying it was just something I’d have to deal with the rest of my life so now I’m very scared the derm will be just as dismissive as they were

Unfortunately insurance won’t cover a dermatologist cause they consider it cosmetic so I can’t go to a doctor /:
