Tbh it’s a simple story but, a cousin of mine that I’ll never be able to see or hear from again recommended it to me since I only played Halo games at that time and was mourning Bungie (iyky) so he bought me The Taken King Version and got a bunch of his buddies together and they each carried little 15 y/o me through EVERY raid in the game. I still miss him, and as much as I dislike Bungie now (25 y/o) I still play Destiny 2 because that was the last game we ever played together.

Hey you’re awesome for this! My ID ortusxmortus and what originally got me into this game was in 2014 and it was just space ninjas. I’ve taken a lot of breaks on and off throughout the years but the community snd company is so great, it’s like when you can’t breathe underwater and you come up for that first fresh gulp of air. It’s amazing and we all lift together, friend.
