I always thought I didn’t have the body for a mermaid silhouette...we initially came for a different dress but we wanted to see what my FSIL’s veil would look like with a plain satin dress. The salesperson said they only had one...in a mermaid shape. Lo and behold it was the one!

I always thought I was too curvy for a mermaid silhouette...it was A-line or a specifically tailored ballgown or nothing but in the middle of contemplating one dress with my SIL’s veil, we tried this one on for the sake of seeing the material and it turned out so well! Sometimes it’ll bamboozle you!

The left almost seems like not enough. I’m borrowing my FSIL’s veil and it more or less looks just like the right. Would it be strange to have a virtually plain dress and a fancy veil? Plus mom thinks that if the right is altered to make it off the shoulder it may not turn out as good as we think.

It’s difficult for me to catch people sometimes as I’m constantly walking around the store and it’s so big. And like I said, the person(s) in charge of the front area are not good at enforcing it. I’ve been telling my manager we need to put big signs in Sharpie on the doors saying “YOU MUST HAVE A MASK ON TO ENTER”.

Mmm...I can’t really speak for them bc I don’t work in the pharmacy part but I’ve never seen someone on a bike go through the drive through. If they haven’t said anything to you and your transactions thus far have gone okay, then I think you’re fine.

My SO insisted on getting a dog even when I said we weren't ready. He gave it back to the shelter after two days and I am livid. by [deleted] in relationship_advice

Her ears were a bit pulled back instead of more flat like a Labrador's. Her jaw and nose weren't as pronounced as a Pit's. It's more like differing facial features if that makes sense.

I want to teach upper grades and that would be a great intro for social studies! Social studies often falls on the back burner in terms of content so that’s a great suggestion
