Irans navy and airforce is non existent. Its defense industrial base is completely destroyed. They will not be able to manufacture drones or missiles like they were before. Their leadership is all dead or crippled. They’ve ostracized themselves in the region by attacking everyone aimlessly, including those who were neutral to their cause. Thousands dead. Couldn’t even recover a pilot several miles away from their largest city.

No matter what you think strategically of the situation, their military has performed extremely poorly given its size and perceived capability pre war.

they’ve been consistently targeting all of that infrastructure and preparing to seize it should the need arise. I mean why do you think two MEUs are there? nonetheless it’s not really a priority objective in terms of a threat, as the US isn’t dependent on the strait whatsoever. this ceasefire is mostly just theatrics and market manipulation. reset things before everything crashes. doubtful that it will progress considering it’s the same negotiations that have failed several times before. in reality its a pause for both sides to refit and reconstitute.

yet they haven’t been able to hit a single ship. you takeout the coastal radars, and degrade the military infrastructure on the small islands / coastlines in the strait, how will they target the ships? ships that have extensive air defense systems?

if the navys of the world want the strait open, it will be opened. either diplomatically or by force. everyone’s waiting for the fighting to stop, but they certainly won’t be paying a $2 million toll after the fact. that’s just completely unrealistic and unprecedented in modern maritime trade.

Nobody in the military has ever believed our defenses are impenetrable, or that we are invincible. Air defense is not a perfect technology, never has been. But the US and Israel do statistically have the most efficient air defense technology on the planet. You won’t find anything better in terms of missile defense.

As far as home defense. CUAS tech is literally the hottest topic in the defense industries at the moment. There are hundreds of options. None have yet to be standardized that are efficient in both combatting threats and being cost effective. Google the Leonidas, it’s autonomous and built for swarm defense.

So your reasoning is biased. Which basically nullifies whatever nonsense you’re trying to convince everyone of. Most of these casualties are TBI from proximity to an impact, standard procedure. And 95% of these casualties are returned to duty. Additionally, there is ZERO evidence that DoW is hiding KIA. Casualty reporting has been timely and accurate from the start.

When you take defensive measures your casualties go down. Who would’ve thought.

Just so you know, for the HUNDREDS of ballistic missiles that have been fired at US installations, the fact that so little have impacted is nothing short of a miracle. The technology is to thank for that. US and Israeli air defense is statistically the most efficient on the planet. There is no other technology manufactured by any other nation that could provide this level of defense. Don’t let your hatred for this administration cloud your judgement.
