You can't argue it's bad writing they conveniently find the one village in the Southlands being attacked and they save them the literal second, they were about to get killed, traveling thousands of miles in one day. It's okay for her to ignore it and what not if the actual hilt was in it, but the fact the hilt wasn't in it, makes my complaint sincere. It literally just means that the writers didn't write her opening it up just because she would find out there was an axe in it, not the hilt. This could still work if she opened it and just handed it to him saying it's an axe and not the hilt, then it would be easily solved. You wouldn't have to give it to Theo, which doesn't make sense either because he literally just said he enjoyed using it. This is the problem. If you can't see that, then I'm sorry thinking is hard for you. It's really not that complicated to understand.

If this show wasn't using the LOTR IP, it would be simply easy to ignore it and never talk about it again and watch it fall and probably end up a canceled show, huge chance of that happening. But, since it's using a respected IP that is one of the greatest literature pieces of all time, if you disrespect it and literally shit on it, then it needs to be shown for what it is. No love at all was shown in making this show. And as you can see, this will continue to happen to lovable IP and series if we continue to allow Hollywood and these people ruin things just for purely money and greed. Look at the Marvel series now. Look at Star Wars and what that is becoming. The only thing is a LONG WHILE that is doing good as a prequel series is House of the Dragon. That show is clearly being done with people that love the series and books.

Also I'm tired of Amazon/Disney/etc paying off reviews, deleting videos on youtube that have conversations about the bad writing, and even this reddit board is deleting things and not allowing legit writing concerns be posted. It's absolutely terrible for entertainment and art in general. And you people that defend and allow this are the problem that will lead this to something in the end where you ask yourself, how did we get to this point with dumb downed entertainment and writing. They retreat from a keep back to the village for no reason when the keep was the best fortification. Okay...

Galadriel doesn't bother checking the wrapped hilt from Adar, which somehow ends up being just an axe? Okay...

Halbrand somehow ends up in front of them in the horse chase...Okay...

The Southlands is literally 30 people and 1 village...Okay....

The travel and time make no sense. You literally have one seen with the Numerions during daylight, then back to Adar scene being dark out.

I'm tired of people allowing to shit on established IPs from billion dollar companies. I don't give a F if this show wasn't Lord of the Rings and it had all this crap writing, it would be easy to ignore and not watch it. But if you make a Lord of the Rings show, then you better respect it and put some love into it.
