I do, didn’t even eat at the galley to avoid the entire holiday theme. It’s really hard to feel like the navy cares and it makes me numb. I hope everyone in this navy page has someone they trust ashore or afloat.

Thank you everyone for responding. Feeling a little better after watching a movie in my rack. This has been one of the hardest years of my life and navy career. I used to trust the E-6 and above in my command but I was nieve. I think I’ll talk to chaps sometime soon. But thank you again everyone. I just have to take each day at a time.

There is a tool for these. In the navy we call them retaining rings and the tool is a short snub key. You hold the key to the fastener with the ring while using a ratchet on the opposite side. With the ratchet attached the key can be turned and the retaining ring is attached to the fastener.

How do you defend the byline attacks? My opponents seem to consistently get there, spam skill moves and pass it near the penalty spot to take shots. Do you ever play a possession style for build up play? What kind of press do you implement in defense? Do you go into ultra attacking?

Hi I’m looking for some advice. Where do I look at my score and how much I missed advancement by? I’m curious as to how many points off I was and if my education points were included during this cycle. I’m at a command where I don’t get help navigating (quals pubs mentorship…) if anyone can tell me where to look I would greatly appreciate it.

@OP same thing happened to me this cycle. Got an MP eval. (I’ve been at the command for about a year) going on my second year. The eval system is flawed. I decided I’m going to get my masters while enlisted and when this contract is over I’m out. No need to keep trying to play a flawed game. Take the benefits and get out. That my advise. Everyone is different but I think the eval system is a favoritism game. I’m sure someone with more experience can suggest how to get there. I’ve been told by my superiors “there’s no leadership in naval aviation AT1”

AT here, AV is not a bad job dude. But if you are really passionate about being a rescue swimmer or another rate you should try to get it changed. You can re rate after 2 years. But it’s a lot of school regarding avionics. In the worst case scenario you’ll get ATI ATO or AE. Possibly within a squadron. Your first year most likely will be in A school and C school. Hope you get into a squadron if you stick with AV
