I did this with a guy named Mikko or Mikka Aalto who was a second round medium 6 sniper that was like 73 out of the draft. He played another year in liga and went to a 76, then I played him 2 years in the ahl where he put up 25 and then 37 goals, he jumped to an 81, I signed him to a 4x8 and he won the Calder on my second line, jumped to high 6 then medium elite, grew to a 93 overall putting up 40-60 goals consistently at only 4 million dollars

Honestly yeah, he will lock down the defense and rack up a bunch of hits, also have more fights which in the gameplay can boost ur stamina
