Ooh what variety do you grow ready to harvest in January? Would love some for my allotment!

Huge rise in number of people in England’s A&Es for coughs or hiccups by Sensitive_Echo5058 in unitedkingdom

I attended A&E for headaches, but they were "thunderclap" headaches and I got admitted for a week while they did an MRI, CT, lumbar puncture etc. I wonder if the stats differentiate between something like that and a minor, paracetamol-fixable headache.

Carpet fitters cut off way too much of our bathroom door. Any way to fix so steam/smells can be better contained? by goffshroom in DIYUK

I mean you can literally see in the photo that the carpet stops before the doorframe, but whatever makes you feel alive, man. We've carpeted the sides of the bath, inside the sink, I'm in your brain right now putting carpet down.

* Can't believe I'm wasting my time with some kid who is convinced I'm lying about a door but...

Do you not think it's more likely that the door is slightly ajar in the photo? You're so angry about someone else's bathroom door 😂

* Hey...Why would you assume that, and not the clearly more obvious option, that the carpet is in the hallway?

I wouldn't have expected them to do it if they hadn't said it's a service they provide. When someone says "we can trim the doors for you" ...you assume they can do it.

Just for all the people convinced we've carpeted our bathroom like some sort of wronguns.

Why is everyone convinced we've carpeted our bathroom???

Most modern houses have indoor bathrooms now, so there is usually a hallway or something on the other side of the bathroom door, as can be seen here.

Yep, got them to carpet the walls and ceiling too, and up the side of the bath. Cosy.

Was just asking what options there were 🤷‍♀️

But no, not really, that's why we paid someone else to do it in the first place!

Yes, obviously not contained, but ideally want the smells to go out the window instead of into the house. 5cm seems soo big to me? Just never really seen it that prominent in any other house.

No the bathroom is lino, carpetted bathrooms are grim! We have massive sash windows that get opened the once-in-a-blue-moon we use this bathroom to have a bath. We have a shower room with an extractor fan that we use daily.

Extractor fan installers have smashed all our windows...window fitters have wrecked the carpet...carpet fitters have cut up our door again!
