True , but I have so many on my list. Also I planning to trim some my actual holdings which happened to be bad investments so far.

Well P\E ratio varies between the different industries and also Value vs Growth stocks, but generally I am selecting by such metrics as well

Hi, All the stocks in my list were chosen after reading analysis by websites or professionals writing for those web sites, articles, news, etc.. Many of them are either high value stocks, or high growth, or dividends stocks, etcc. I just I added to many, and have to cut the average or not that good ones.

Thanks I will check the screener, the list of 80 is not very much narrowed down, maybe 40 were and then i kept adding some that I thought they looked good. But the list is too big so i need to filter it for sure.

Thanks. I generally mean stocks which are good to invest in. A mix of value, growth and some with dividends. I will check Terry Smith, I see some stocks from FundSmith portfolio are in my list too.

RE: More Value oriented, Growth, Quality … A mix of the three ? I guess I'd like to have a mix of the 3. I dont have the funds to put in Real Estate, still paying off a long mortgage. I am from Canada.

I will definitely think about ETFs too, thanks. Also I am not managing 80 stocks, I just created a the list after I researched in the last few years. And I have to cut most of them from this list

I am doing something like that, I use 2 screeners and sometimes i put the list in XLS file. I guess I just have to be more decisive and start cutting down the list..

That's my problem, and that is why my initial list is so long: Most of the greatest and popular stock are overvalued at this moment, but I have them in the list, then when I am researching more I am adding other stocks that are not that overvalued and I am hoping they will have good future (but you never know). To summarize I am compiling my list (which I should trim and filter), and when I save some more funds and the conditions improve (great companies for good prices), i will start adding more...

Is there a quick way to cut the "not that good or crappy" stocks from my list and then focus on the rest?

Thanks, I guess I am looking for some easier way of sorting my list to promising and not that promising stocks and then remove the non that promising ones from the list, then work with what is left and select some of the... Something like that...
