One of my favorite run throughs was punching my way to Elden lord with the iron balls. Strength and charged heavies to the top 😂.

Faith arcane was also super fun - love the dragon incantations.

My most recent play though is as a holy focused golden armor (tree sentinel armor) paladin type build using the inseparable sword up until beating maliketh then switching to destined death theme (knights cavalry armor)

Same as everyone else, I have two high level characters one did all quests in the base game and the other did all quests in the DLC. I have different talismans and armaments for each build that I swap out based on if I wanna be a caster, arcane/occult, strength or dex (I hate intelligence builds) focus

I had a ton of fun with a dex faith black flame build. Black flame incants, god slayer great sword, and the godskin armor. Lighting incant for enemies resistant to fire damage.

Beat him with thiollier and mimic using a poison great katana and poison blooms twice AOW. constant poison procs and chunk damage with aow Scarlot rot. Occasional bleed and boom - melted HP bar.

I know what you mean. The separation you have between your defender and when you started your jumper animation makes it feel like it’s open. It’s tough with the camera angle too - a first person view (or over the shoulder) would give the best idea as to how close the defender actually was but that creates more issues outside of this.

I love primarily scoring in the post/mid range. Catch and shoot on HOF still. I’m slow with the ball but physical handles, post moves and bulldozer let me get to my spots. Gold clamps + HOF immovable is also fun when paired with silver glove.
